Now, About Online Advertising

Without question, every true GOP operative is concerned about the party's lack of new media savvy.

A good example: last cycle, a bunch of the old guard dabbled in new media, but couldn't get past the simple direct sales pitch or the all-too-easy contribution solicitation. They give absolutely no thought to brand-building or online relationships.

Turns out, the problem goes beyond the political industry. Outside of the politics, digital advertisers are stuck in the same rut. Watch this. (Try to get past the awful prompter stare).

The truth is, new media should be about integrating a message so you can build relationship one person at a time.

Just something to think about for the next time you're planning an online campaign of any kind.
